Designing and crafting a custom stained-glass window is an artisanal process where art, craftsmanship, and precision come together.

1. On-site design consultation
The first step is an on-site visit, where we discuss your wishes and preferences.
We look at the style, colors, and types of glass that best complement your interior.
Additionally, I assess the light incidence and background to ensure the design blends perfectly into the space.
2. Initial Designs & Digital Visualization
After the visit, I develop the discussed ideas and provide you with several scaled proposals.
A digital preview of the stained-glass window can also be created, giving you a realistic impression of the final result.
3. Price quotation
Once the design is fully to your liking, I prepare a price quotation.
If the budget aligns with your expectations, I further refine the final design and send you an official quote.
4. Design & glass selection
The design is then created at full scale, and the appropriate glass structures and colors are carefully selected and ordered.
5. Cutting the glass pieces
Each piece of glass is carefully cut and arranged on the preparation drawing.
Before moving forward, I will send you a photo of the cut glass pieces, giving you the opportunity to provide feedback or share any final comments.
You are also very welcome to visit my workshop in person to discuss the colors and finer details.
6. Assembly in lead profiles
The glass pieces are assembled into lead profiles using the traditional stained-glass technique.
The lead joints are then soldered, and the panel is finished with putty for extra strength and durability.
7. Some rest
The stained-glass panel must then rest for three weeks to allow the putty to fully cure before installation.
8. Installation & final Touches
I personally handle or oversee the installation of the stained-glass window to ensure a flawless result.
Once the panel is installed, you receive the final invoice.
