“Our stained glass artwork has gone through an exciting journey, and it must be said: the result is stunning!
What started as an idea—a desire for a tree in autumn colors with sunlight streaming through—has transformed into a functional door with vibrant color facets and a steel frame.
Perfectly custom-made and installed on-site by a proud artist and skilled craftsmen.
We cherish every moment, admiring the shapes, colors, and the ever-changing play of light.
Amazing work, Isabelle! Thank you, E. & G.”
KONTICH
“In our search for a stained glass designer, Isabelle from Atelier Illumen stood out with her personal and thoughtful approach. Rather than offering standard options, she visited our home to fully understand the light and ambiance—an essential yet rare approach.
For the large window in the piano room, Isabelle designed and created a refined leaf ornament, perfectly in tune with the Edwardian style of our home. Through a harmonious interplay of colors, shapes, and textures, and a meticulous selection of glass types that complement the existing Tiffany lighting, she crafted a timeless and striking work of art.
The result is not only aesthetically stunning but also enhances the authentic atmosphere of our home. We are absolutely delighted with these unique, custom-made stained glass windows.”Y. & M.

WESTENDE
In the charming old villa district of Westende, there is a cozy vacation home where the family regularly gathers. To give the house a unique character, an abstract stained glass artwork was integrated into the double window niche. This mirrored design reflects the natural hues of the nearby De Blankaart nature reserve.
However, the two panels are not entirely identical—a playful detail invites discovery: can you spot the seven differences?

Unique stained glass for the kitchen door: a design inspired by children.
In this house, the stained glass in the kitchen door needed to be replaced. The inspiration for the new design came from a crayon drawing made by the clients’ children. This unique stained glass window adds color and character to the kitchen, replacing the old rectangular pattern.
GRIMMINGE
Decorative stained glass with a design inspired by the garden.
Both windows offer a beautiful view of a green garden that attracts numerous birds on their way to the provincial domain De Gavers. Unfortunately, bird collisions occurred regularly due to the reflections in the glass.
To prevent this, secondary glazing was installed on the outside, mounted with the structural side facing out, within a stylish steel frame. The design and color play blend seamlessly with the natural surroundings, making the windows not only functional but also aesthetically valuable.
